Machine warranty

Thought we would let you know that our new machine carries a full 12 month written warranty backed by ourselves . You only have one point of contact should you have any concerns . The warranty is full parts and labour . You are covered for any manufacturing defects . I hope this clarifies any questions on this issue . Gordon

  1. So if it breaks down, would we have to wait for it to be repaired, or would you swap for a new machine? I sell stuff, so could not be without for more than a couple of days.

    1. Hi. Like any warranty , we would have to see and examine the item to make a decision on what is wrong. If it broke due to a defect ( highly unlikely ) , then we would either repair it or replace with a new machine . That is a very fair approach . We hope of course this situation never occurs which is why we have taken so long over the testing of the machine . Gordon

  2. If you're still tweaking the machine, will the first ones to arrive include the tweaks?
It looks good and I am looking forward to receiving mine.
Can I choose the die it comes with?

    1. The machine is now ready and everyone will receive the finished product . The machine does not come with a die , it comes with three embossing folders . Gordon

  3. Will the dies you showed on your blog be for sale the same time as the machine? Can I just put my name in this part as I do not have a 'profile'?

    1. Hi lucy . The dies will be arriving after the machine . The ones we have shown on the blog are just the first of many dies we have being designed for us . The three A4 folders will be coming with the machine .You dont have to have a profile , its just polite to know who everyone is . Gordon

    2. I have seen on one blog that some people have had trouble with the Joy machine they purchased from Once Upon a Stamp when they went wrong, I ordered the new machine at the NEC can you please assure everybody that there will not be the same problems

    3. Hi Margaret .The problem you refer to with the Joy machine was not of our making . Like the calibur , they break easily with excess pressure and unfortunately the people behind the machine were very difficult over the issue . Lots of the machines were broken by people using the plates the wrong way , but people seldom like to admit they have made a mistake. These problems cannot occur with the new machine and we are the ones in this case responsible for the warranty which we will issue ourselves . The Joy machine was not an experience i wish to repeat which is why we have been so careful this time around. Gordon

  4. Hi Gordon, Thanks for your prompt reply and assurance, I am looking forward to receiving the new machine, at the moment I have the Big Shot, the Wizard, the Grand Calibur and three electronic cutting machines, so I will have to move house or get rid of some I think.
