NEC & PORT SUNLIGHT SHOW & PRE ORDERS

Just to thank all of you who placed your order for the new machine at last weeks NEC show .

I think as we proved to you , this is what we have all been waiting for and you will not be disappointed .
As we have been banned from the show at Alexandra Palace due to nothing more than silly politics , our next show will be at Port Sunlight on the Wirral. This is by far our favourite show . We will have the new system demonstrated at the show and the new machine should be available at the show to take away .

I hope to see some of you at this wonderful event.

Dont forget , if you place a PRE ORDER before the machines arrive in the UK , we are giving you a very special gift as a big thank you .

All pre orders will receive the above as a thank you for your trust in us .

Many thanks

Gordon

  1. what's wrong with them are they frightened of a bit of competition,or maybe they don't like your machine being better than theirs,I shall be placing my order on Wednesday for mine

    1. Hi Chrissie. Creative Expressions did this to us as we are the only UK company allowed to buy from Spellbinders . He is one of the UK distributors and he could see our success . He stopped us going after 6 years at the show . He told us he only wanted those at the show who bought things from him and he said we were no longer welcome at the show. He also wanted to raise the price of spellbinder dies at the show and accused us of selling them too cheaply . It was all just a silly excuse to be honest , he wanted our business and knew we would not give it to him , so this is all he could do. Robert at the time was extremely upset as he knew the owner well and was always entertaining at his show . We loved Ally Pally , but sadly we cannot go there because of his attitude . I hasten to add we are not the only ones this has happened to . He is slowly killing his own show . Gordon

    2. Glad the show went well. It's a shame you won't be at Ally Pally as it's the only show I could manage to get to. I won't bother going now. Some people don't like to see you getting on. My mother used to say don't get down to their level and keep true to yourself.

    3. Your mum was right as mums usually are . There is far too much politics in this business now im afraid . Next year when we begin to run our own shows , hopefully we can make a change to some of the ways things are done . Great British Fairs and Exhibitions coming soon. Gordon

    4. Hi Gordon are you going to the summer crafting in july at Doncaster, or is Stephanie (c+c) blocking that? would also be good to see you at Don Valley Sheffield at the Ross papercraft shows. It's practically local for you.

Saw the Ebosser on C+C the other day, with crafters companion, so don't know why they don't want yours on.

Don't have a profile. All the best Jan

    5. Hi
Yes we will be there as long asthe show goes ahead . There are lots of people concerned as Stephanies business of Arts and Crafts Direct went under . Dont forget Stamp Magic at the Dome in June , a great show and in many ways better then the July show . Never heard of Ross shows so we will give them a miss . We have our own shows coming soon in any case . Gordon

  6. Stephanies business went under, is that why she's back on C&C?

    1. Hi. I doubt that is true. Stephanie works very hard and really believes in what she does . I cant really comment as i dont know the circumstances only rumours which usually prove to be unfounded . The summer crafting show is still on . Whether you like Stephanie or not , i do admire here greatly for her stamina , she puts lots of us to shame . Last summer at her summer show , she had a one minute silence for Robert , thats the sign of someone who cares .Although i personally do not like lick and stick , craft kits or cd roms , i do like Stephanie and i cant say that about many in the craft world.

  9. I like Stephanie, met her a few years back at Ally Pally(the year she was getting married) she seems a very warm and genuine person. I don't mind her on TV as she lets the person demoing get on with it and doesn't put it across she knows best. Pity she's not at AP more as she's lovely to talk too.
Yes I do hope you have one of your planned shows down here in Suffolk or near too.
