DETAILED DIES CUTTING PROBLEMS

As you all know we have been trying to solve all of the problems that have been thrown at us with the launch of a new die cutting system . We have the utmost confidence in this new system and as you will see from our months of testing the machine is capable of a whole host of things that no other machine can achieve .
We all know the problems occurring in all machine cutting highly detailed dies from a variety of die manufacturers . As you know there are some makes i would never recommend you to purchase as they will always cause you problems .
We want everyone to be happy with there new machine as most of you already are after a mad week for us sending our many hundreds of machines all over Europe.
We have however a small handful of people who are still struggling with the detailed dies.

We have been away for four days on a well needed break and tonight we returned back to the shop for further tests with some of these awkward dies.

Here is what we intend to do to help you further .

First of all we stand by our instructions for all of the things the machine is capable of doing , however we have found that following our tests we now recommend setting number 3 for cutting thin metal frame type dies using the magnetic mat in the machine . Without the use of the magnetic mat we recommend you go down a little further on your pressure switch.

The only problem we have found is with some highly detailed dies as you would expect . Now we all know that in other machines these dies can take up to eight runs through a machine twisting and turning as you go .

As you know we do have a thick A4 size metal plate for cutting fabric , leather etc. We have found tonight that using this plate as the cutting plate can cut most problem dies ( there will always be some that just wont cut well no matter what we do , one make in particular will always give you problems and we definitely do not recommend these dies ). Our SPRAY M BOSS will also help solve most problems .

SO HERE IS OUR OFFER FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE PURCHASED THE MACHINE :

We are offering you all an A4 METAL PLATE plus a BOTTLE OF SPRAY M BOSS for only £5 including postage !
We are also including an update to the instructions you received with your machine .

This will be available from around the 10th August ! If you are attending the Stevenage show on11th August we will make this offer available to you at the show as long as you bring along proof that you purchased the machine from us .
For everyone else you will have to call the shop the week following and we will sort this for you over the phone . We cannot do this for you via the website !

We are aware that a few of you have already purchased the metal plate so for you we are going to do the following :

If you contact us we will make you the following offer :
FREE ADDITIONAL METAL PLATE
or
FREE ADDITIONAL CLEAR CUTTING PLATE
PLUS
FREE BOTTLE OF SPRAY M BOSS

Our testing tonight has solved most of the cutting problems some of you tell us you have only with the more highly detailed dies . We believe we have now solved most of these problems for you in our ongoing efforts to make sure you have the very best machine on the market . Remember though ...there will always be some makes of dies that work better than others , as a rule if you purchase dies which do not emboss , these dies will always be more difficult to cut on every machine .

Spellbinders fancy lattice through the machine

Here is one of the dies that cause lots of problems . Setting between 1&2 , we ran this through once and back once . We again used the spray m boss before we cut . Gordon

Cutting awkward spellbinder dies

Here we have cut one if the more difficult spellbinder expandable dies without the need for the metal plate . We ran it through twice and we also used the spray m boss which is available shortly .
We lightly sprayed the card on both sides before cutting . Please see the pics
which are in stages . Hope this helps you all . You don't need the metal plate and you need not be afraid of the pressure switch . Have patience , learn your new machine and take your time. . Gordon

Pressure switch

Remember this is for you to use and get to know . Don't be afraid of this and remember the instructions are only for guidance , have a play and get the feel of your own machine and your dies . It's a very tough machine . Gordon

comment received and much appreciated as usual

Hi,
I just want to say, I have received my Jus-Cutz
die cutting machine already.  I really didn't expect to
get it so quickly.  The machine is fantastic and your
Customer Service is second to none!

Many thanks

Jan Bird (Mrs)

Magnetic mat and your machine

The magnetic mat we have supplied is not a shim for use every time , it is only needed for making frames or running a selection of frame like dies through at any one time. Simply use the base plate for single dies and increase the pressure switch . The instructions we have supplied are for guidance only , you can increase the pressure switch slightly if you have to and you will get used to the feel of your own machine as they will all differ very slightly.

Also note this is not a miracle machine , it simply will never solve every die cutting problem , but it will solve many and do more for you than most other machines .

If you buy a highly detailed die in all likelihood it will be easier to cut , but you will still have to persevere and work it out . This is a fault of dies with far too much detail . Also there are certain dies on the market that do not emboss , these are much harder to cut out and the same goes for some cheap dies on the market ...you pay for what you get .

Next Delivery of the MOOD and RETRO colours

Please note that  we have another delivery of machines scheduled to arrive around 20th August . We have also just placed our third order for production today .

Gordon

A tip for your new machine !

A little tip for you all
We have found out something about our machine today you may all find interesting when using more awkward dies. Ok..build up your sandwich as instructed and then take hold and flip the whole thing upside down so that you are now looking at the large white plate . Run through your machine increasing the pressure if you need to . We found that this solves some of the cutting problems with these types of dies. Give it a try and let us know what you think . Gordon

Machine colours sold out

Please note we are now currently sold out of both retro and mood colours . These will be back in stock around 20th August . They are now on the web site for pre orders . Gordon

See the difference for yourself !

Here we have pictures of the insides of our new machine and pictures of the pink one some of you have noticed else where . We want you to see the difference for yourself and the lengths we have gone to with our machine to make sure it does not break . The difference between the two is chalk and cheese as they say . We all know what will happen to a machine with plastic cogs . In our initial testing the cogs begun to wear away very quickly with the pressure being used . We went to China ourselves to make sure this was changed . We would ask you all to make sure no one is caught out by this . The pink machine with plastic cogs is nothing at all to do with us and we are not responsible for any guarantee on this machine.
We must make this perfectly clear .
