  2. Sorry, Gordon, not keen on the pink. That must be the Barbie model! I prefer the black and white - easier on the eyes

  5. PINK is great, makes one think of summer, please don't give up on it Gordon, black is too harsh, looks like it should be in a garage not in a craft room. Hugs Annette x

  6. Like the look of the machine, very business like! How about selling it in plain white, then stocking the plastic spray paint in different colours so we can customise it ourselves. That's what i call crafting!

  7. Don't do pink either but love the darker colours. This is not a complaint but I expected it to look different as you say it uses more pressure than other machines and you don't need a variety of plates. I had it in my mind it was going to have a pressure button. It does look very stylish and can't wait to find out the price as I have christmas money burning a hole in my pocket.

    1. It does have a pressure switch as you will see . Yoiu can only tell so much from the picture . It is steel reenforced inside with extra large steel rollers . Gordon

  12. Not keen on the pink it's a bit "in your face" for me but I agree with an earlier comment, the colour would not put me off buying it if there wasn't a choice. Looking forward to seeing the machine in action at Stevenage but have already decided to order one as soon as is possible.

  13. Oh, I don't really mind about the colour........
It could be sky blue pink with spots on....he he...
I just want one ...please? Soon?
As long as a machine does its job, thats all I care about..
And if it's as good as you are telling us, (which I am sure it is)....thats good enough for me too.

  15. Like others the colour wouldn't put me off buying the machine although I might have to have a cover made if it was this colour pink! I like the other colour choices but if I had to pick my favourites it would be mid blue and silver grey and dark brown and teal green (can't wait to see this one!).

    1. Glad you like. We only chrge the actual cost of postage to Ireland although i am not sure what this will be as yet. If you have any local craft shops let them know and perhaps they will stock it making it easier for you. Gordon

  17. I am really not a pink person - would much prefer almost any other colour (perhaps not purple). Also it looks a bit like hospital blancmange used to look!

  18. Colour not as important as the machine doing what it should. Has a look of the the Joy which i found to be good machine not brill but much stronger than the Grand Calibur which just broke!
If it's that good i will have it any colour lol. Like to see the colours before i commit, but black is smart and the pink more girly.
    See you at Stevenage!!!!!

  19. Hi Gordon
A bit disappointed to see the clear cutting plate as that is what I disliked about the cuttlebug as I used it a lot and was forever buying new plates for it. The big advantage of the grand calibur was because it had the strong plates as indeed the wizard had. Could this be changed or is it a better material than the cuttlebug has?
Apart from that it is looking good.

    1. The cutting plate for this machine is clear , which i must say i prefer .You have to remember that for machine to operate properly , th top plate must be flexible to go through the rollers and therefore may always bend a little. If this was not the case there could be problems ahead and perhaps this is part of the problem with the calibur . If we make the plate thicker it would not be able to do all of the things we want it to do and then you would need more plates to do more things . Im afraid its just the way these things work in this type of machine . However in all of our tests , the top plate has not bent too much and we have found that turning it over and using the other side has caused no problems. Gordon

  20. Oh well will think about it anyway but I have had no problems with the calibur so far. I feel sure I will be tempted to your machine when I see it at Harrogate

  22. I'm afraid I dislike pink and never buy anything in that colour so glad to hear there will be a choice. It looks a strong machine and can't wait to hear more about it.

  23. The machine looks great... and I'd love it in pink. Maybe white and pink rather than pink and white IYKWIM
    Good luck!

  24. looks visually ugly to me, just my opinion - why don't companies use just 'black' or just 'red'....if it does what it says on the tin, so to speak then I'd be interested as I just have a cuttlebug, and I'm finding the size of the embossing plates etc. restrictive (too small).

  25. Not the most glamorous machine but ok,love the colour it will be pink for me.
